What phenomena might occur if lack of power supply?

What is SMART Face Detection?
Face Detection: Face Detection function is fulfilled by the camera. The face features such as eyes and mouth would be recognized. The detection highly demands the size of face shown in the image and the angle to the lens. We recommend users have the camera installed close to the desired detection region and make sure people face the camera directly. Notice: Face Detection is different from Face Recognition. In Face Detection, the detection of faces in the whole image would trigger the alarm and notify surveillance center. The regions of detected faces would not be captured. The Face Recognition Camera is able to capture face images and upload to server for face comparison.

Why our DVR/NVR cannot find the HDDs?
Please install the HDD properly, no gap with the interface. Please install recommended HDD, eg. Seagate, WD, TOSHIBA, SANSUNG, HITACHI (generally capacity: 1T, 2T, 4T, 6T, 8T).
What is Main stream / Sub stream?
The main stream with high resolution and full frame rate can be used for main monitoring and recording. The sub stream with lower resolution can be used for mobile monitoring. Some devices support third stream which offers more flexible choices.
What are Stream and Bitrate?
After the video is compressed, a stream is generated. Bitrate (bps): quantity of bit stream per second. Bitrate type: Constant Bitrate (CBR), Variable Bitrate (VBR). Stream type: video, audio, video & audio complex stream.
What is DVR / NVR?

What is Resolution?
Resolution is usually measured by the number of horizontal and vertical pixels. It can be expressed as number of horizontal point * number of vertical pixels. In a fixed plane, the higher resolution could provide better image.
What is PoE Power Supply?
Only the network camera has POE. 1,2,3,6 are the data wire and 4,5,7,8 are idle. Two methods can be applied. With 8-core wire, one method is using 1-4 cores for both power supply and data transmission. Another method to use 5-8 cores for power supply while the rest for data transmission.
What does 4K mean?
The name "4K resolution" refers to a horizontal resolution of approximately 4,000 pixels. It has been developed into a variety of standards. The DCI 4K resolution standard (4096 * 2160 pixels) is widely respected by the film and video production industry. ZMM100 Mifare device, if enroll card both in user manage menu, and Card management menu.it will verify failed.
After test we found, that if you just enroll from user mng, or card mng menu, it can verify succeed, If enroll from user management, then enroll again from card management, it will ask copy data to card or not, if we choose no, it could not verify succeed on device. But if we choose yes, we could still verify succeed. If meet this issue, just tell customer to enroll from one of the menu.
customer enroll 3297 fingerprint in Alg 9.0,every time when they verify fingerprint, the device will ask for user ID.
In Alg 9.0, if extend 3000 FP, the device will force to 1:1 mode, In this case,we would like to suggest customer to use Alg 10.0.
Can we set whether the work code must be entered when the employee verifies? And how to transfer the work codes from one device to another?

If I have used the usb client function on the device, then can I use the wifi function?
These two functions are not compatible with each other. Only when the usb client function is closed, then the wifi function can be used.
If I have open the GPRS function of the device, then can I use the print function
These two functions are not compatible with each other. Once the GPRS function is used, the print function can not be used.
Can we set a certain time to download the logs, and then delete the logs in the device automatically instead of deleting manually?

How to connect the device with the Zktime.net software?
Firstly, please go as follow: menu->Comm->Ethernet(Set the “IP Address”, “Subnet Mask”. “Gateway”. And the TCP COMM port should be 4370). Secondly, please go as follow: menu->PC Connection->Comm Key to be “0”. Thirdly, please go to the zktime.net software, and set as follow: (Let the port to be “4370”, And the pwd to be blank)
How to import the user information from the device to the software via U disk?
Firstly, please download the user information with the U disk. Then please go as follow in the Zktime.net software: Attendance->Import / Export->Import Employees.
If the device needs to change its attendance status automatically, how to achieve that?
Please go as following: menu->Personalize->Shortcut key mappings->Set switch time. Then the status will automatically change when it reaches the time you set.
How to enter ADMS with URL mode? Where to input the port when using the URL mode?
Please go as following to set: menu->COMM->ADMS. And pls turn the “enable domain name” to be “on”, and about the port, pls directly input it together on the domain name such as “abc:8081” in the server address.
Can I take a photo of the user if his fails to verify for continuously three times?
Yes, Please go as the follow path to do some settings: menu->System->Attendance->Camera mode->Save on failed verification.
How to save the illegal verification record.
Please go to the follow path to turn on this function: menu->System->Attendance->Save Illegal Verification Record (Turn it on).Then the device will keep the record though it is illegal.
How to change the advertising pictures of the device?
Create a new folder named "advertise" in the root directory of U disk and place advertising images into the folder. A maximum of 20 images can be stored and the size of each image cannot exceed 30 KB. There are no restrictions on the image’s name and type.
If the device connects with a printer, how to set the printer function on the device? Can the paper be cut automatically when it comes out?
Please go as the follow path: menu->Print->Printer Options->Print (On)->paper cut (If you need it, turn it as“on”) , Then go as below: menu->Print->Data Field Setup (choose to turn on those functions you need.) Thirdly, go to Menu-->Comm.-->RS232/485 and select baud rate. Here is the connection between the device and the printer.
How to change the wallpapers of the device?
Upload the jpg documents with “1~10.jpg” as initial letters of document names stored in a U disk to the terminal. After the upload, these pictures can be displayed on the interface of the terminal. Create a new directory named "wallpaper" in the root directory of U disk and place wallpapers into the directory. A maximum of 20 wallpapers can be stored and the size of each wall paper cannot exceed 30 KB. Pls go as the follow path to upload: menu->USB Manager->Upload->Wallpaper.
There is a triangle together with a red “!” on the top of the main screen, how to cancel it?
It is a signal of the Alarm when the device is getting down from the wall. When the device is installed on the wall normally, this signal will disappear automatically.

Can we set the valid date for the employee?
Please go as follow: menu->User Mng->New User->User Expiration Rule->Expired Date->Start Date->End Date. If the user verifies outside the date, the device would say “invalid user”.
Can FR1200 support Ver9.0? Can FR1200 be connected with C3?
NO, FR1200 can only support Ver10.0; FR1200 can not be connected with C3, because C3 does not support fingerprint.screen, how to cancel it?
How to get the license after reinstall ZKTimeNet 3.0 on another computer
After the computer is replaced ,the licnese have to sent to the licnese issuer for reset. The default is that each licnese of customer have a chance to replace license for free.

Check the Sim Card. Some card requires to open data first even it shows online and shows the data transfer, make sure that you could use the SIM card login FaceBook or anyother web. After , insert the SIM card back to device

In theZKBio Time, the device state is online.,but cannot show device model and the version information，and the device name is still auto add.

the webserver address is your device ip address.
If the device doesn't have admin, the login accout and the password of the web 3.0 are administrator and 123456.
If your device contains admin user, the login accout and the password are the admin user's ID and password.
Cloud Server Setting (ADMS) shows Disabled.

What is dry mode and wet mode ?
The control panel supports “dry mode” and “wet mode” by using the jumper. For “wet mode”, short 2-3 and 4-5 terminals. The control panel and the lock use the separate power supply. One is connected with +12V and GND of POWER interface (for the control panel), the other is connected with V+ and V- of LOCK interface (for the lock). The factory default jumping is set as dry mode.
which reader of the inbio controls which door?
About C3-200, the reader1 and reader3 are the in of lock 1 and lock 2; reader 2 and reader 4 are the out of lock 1 and lock 2. About C3-400, all of the readers are for the in of the lock. When C3-400 changes to two-door two-way, the reader 1 is for the in of lock 1, the reader 2 is for the out of lock 2; the reader 3 is for the in of lock 2, the reader 4 is for the out of lock 2. If for inbio, the odd number is for in of the lock, the even number is for out of the lock.
Inbio+FR1200,can FR1200 be used to register users?
FR1200 can not be used to register fingerprint, it can only be used for verification. Fingerprint sensor such as ZK4000,ZK4500 can be used to register users. The ZK4000 can be used only in 32 digits system; but ZK4500 can be used both in 32 digits and 64 digits.
How to cancel the event records in the inbio?
The event records can not be cleared; when it reaches 100,000, it will overlap the before ones.
The number 7 is used to restore to the factory setting, which kind of data will be initialed? Including the parameters setting?
If you forget the device IP or the device can not work normally, You can use the number 7 terminal to restore inbio460 to factory Setting , the configuration include device IP , communication password ,gateway ,subnet mask. The device IP will be 192.168.1.201,the communication password will be blank. And the parameters setting will not be changed, will stay at the device.
How to reset the device to the factory setting?
The number7 digit is off by default. When it is moved upwards and downwards for three times within 10 seconds and finally returned to OFF position, the factory settings will be restored after the access control panel is restarted.
Inbio260 can only support one FR1200? How to set the 485 address of FR1200?
Inbio260 can at most support four FR1200, two as in, two as out. There are six DIP terminals , 1-4 is for RS485 address , 5 is reserved , 6 is for extending the length of RS485. Set the odd number is for enter reader, and the even number is for exit reader (for example , two readers for one door- the rs485 address 1 is for enter door, rs485 address 2 is for out door) And both 1 and 2 should be translate into the binary digits.
ZKAccess3.5 startup failed
problem：I receive an error message "root element missing" when i try to launch software
sloution：First ,please Go to the software installation directory, and find ‘AppSite.Xml’.(Please backup this file before doing the following.)
Then open it with Notepad.
Check the value of this statement,for example,the value of mine is ‘’en’’ ,and in the second red box you can see the vaule of ‘’en’’ is ‘’English’’.
Please try to modify the value to ‘’en’’or’’chs’’,then save the file and restart the software ZKAccess3.5 to see if it can run successfully

TF1700 doesn't push oplog

The registration speed of the SLK20R connected to the ZKAccess 3.5 software is normal, but the registration is slow when ZKBiosecurity3.0 and ZKTime web2.0 are connected.

How big USER ID does the SLK20M support?
Our biometric identification SDK does not involve user IDs.Since a person has 10 fingerprints, we only have a finger index, which is a 32-bit unsigned integer, a pure number that does not exceed 9 in length. Our SDK only cares about the information he collects, then compares it and does not care about logical data.
Is it possible to convert our 10.0 fingerprint template into a picture (jpg, png, etc)?
Fingerprint template can't convert pictures. The binarization process of extracting fingerprint feature points from a picture and saving it as a fingerprint template is irreversible.We can get the original fingerprint image from the fingerprint reader through the SDK interface ZKFPM_Acquire Fingerprint Image. It does not support converting from a fingerprint template to a picture.
Fingerprint comparison always fails
1. Confirm whether the fingerprint template of the customer is correct
2. Confirm that the customer's own development process has judgments on
algorithm library initialization and fingerprint reader connection. The
algorithm library initialization may fail but the client still invokes
the comparison interface.
Connected fingerprint reader and not, the result is not the same
Due to the limitation of the algorithm, a fingerprint reader must be connected in order to initialize the algorithm library and the comparison interface can be invoked.
When installing the ZKBiolock on the win10 pro operating system, the software prompt database is incompatible with the operating system.

Check if you have access control menu,you can have access control function or external alarm,only one of them. When you have access control function disabled,you will see the menu in system setting to switch internal/external alarm.
